The Studio
Can I rent the studio in the evening?
Yes. The studio has beautiful natural light during the day, but evening rentals are available for photographers bringing their own lighting or working with a darker look.
What is included in the studio?
Your rental includes access to the large blank shooting wall, 107-inch three-roll seamless paper system, Nova movable wall, flexible bamboo wall, rolling bounce boards, rolling C-stands, gear carts, Content Creator Station, private dressing room, rolling makeup station, Wi-Fi, Alexa music, and the coffee, beverage and snack station.
Furniture and movable pieces are there to be used—just return the room the way you found it.
What are the studio hours?
SIX WEST STUDIO is available seven days a week from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Can I use seamless paper on the floor?
Yes. We will have rolls set aside and labeled specifically for floor use, so you can create a seamless floor without pulling paper down from the backdrop system.
Please use the designated floor rolls rather than cutting or removing paper from the main seamless system.
Will we have the studio to ourselves?
Yes. Your rental is private to you, your client and your team. If you would like one of us there to assist, reach out before booking and we will let you know whether we are available.
Can I move furniture and equipment?
Absolutely. The studio is meant to adapt to your shoot. Move the furniture, roll in Nova, change the paper, or clear the room completely. Just handle everything with care and reset the space before you leave.
Booking Your Time
What is your cancellation and rescheduling policy?
All studio rentals are nonrefundable.
If you need to move your rental, contact us as soon as possible. We are happy to transfer your booking to another available time within the same calendar month.
SIX WEST STUDIO is a natural-light studio. If weather significantly changes the light in the space—such as a dark, stormy day that makes it unsuitable for your planned session—we will gladly help you reschedule within that same month, based on availability.
Your booking confirmation contains the full rental agreement.

How much time should I book?
Book the amount of time you need for your shoot, including setup and breakdown—except for one-hour rentals.
One-hour rentals include 60 minutes of shooting time plus a complimentary 15 minutes to set up and 15 minutes to break down. For every other rental length, setup and breakdown happen within your reserved time.

Where do I park?
There are three nearby parking options:
The parking ramp across the street offers free parking on weekends. On weekdays the two hours are free, then only a $1 per hour after that.
DURING THE HOLIDAY SEASON, ALL OF THE STREET AND RAMP PARKING IS FREE!
There is also a paid lot directly next to the building. Use the ParkMobile app to pay for parking there.
What is nearby?
Downtown Leesburg is full of walkable shops, coffee and restaurants. It is an easy addition to the client experience—recommend a coffee before the shoot, lunch afterward, or a little time downtown while they are already here.
What if I am bringing a larger setup?
If you are bringing larger props, equipment or a more involved setup, reach out before your rental. We will send you instructions for the loading and unloading area directly beside the building.
Where is SIX WEST STUDIO located?
6 W. market Street. We are upstairs in a historic building in Downtown Leesburg, Virginia. Right above the Loudoun Credit Union. The studio is accessed by stairs; there is not an elevator.
